The white wine »SP« Ungstein Scheurebe trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Pfeffingen has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Attractive scents of passion fruit, lemon balm and ripe gooseberry on the nose, plus a hint of black currant. Wonderfully juicy on the palate thanks to a lively acidity which creates lots of drive, and fine phenolics wrapped up in the tightly woven structure. This is a wine that is a lot of fun and easily accessible.
