The red wine »Luitmar« Rotweincuvée trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Philipp Kuhn has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Fine savouriness on the nose, a little Brett, with beautiful, ripe fruit such as blackcurrant, cherry and blackberry, cigar box, tobacco and juniper berry. Juicy on the palate, with spiciness and also texture with a well-integrated acidity, strong tannin that promises a lot. Lots of power, minerality, good length.
