The white wine »Réserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Philipp Kuhn has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Strong yellow, almost explosive on the nose with flinty, smoky and herbal notes, lots of gunpowder, hardly any fruit. Leaves you hardly time to breathe on the palate, very energetic in its development in Starkstrom manner, clearly defined outline, great acidity, tight and powerful, underpinned and pushed by tightly meshed extract, mineral defined, very young and promising.
