The white wine CH15, vintage 2015 from the winery Pitzner has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, intense straw yellow. Open, accessible nose with rich, present fruit, banana, mirabelle plums and some pineapple, underpinned by subtle woody notes. Also shows beautiful play on the palate, sparkling, good fullness, juicy fruit, still a little wood overhang at the back, but should integrate very well with a little ageing.
