The sweet and dessert wine Trockenbeerenauslese Auratum, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut PMC Münzenrieder has been rated in 2014 with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Welschriesling from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Bright, medium yellow-gold in colour. Delicately smoky on the nose with a herbal-spicy tangerine note, fine honeyed touch, some lemongrass and a hint of spices. Complex precious wood notes and some nougat mingle with a ripe yellow tropical fruit core on the palate, which lingers well before the honeyed finish. Definite ageing potential.
