The red wine Neusiedlersee DAC, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut PMC Münzenrieder has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It is a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is a subtle herbal savoury arama in the background, along with black berry fruit, tobacco nuances, and some orange zest. It is juicy, with ripe cherry fruit, fine tannins, a fresh structure, and some nougat on the finish, and it is a versatile food wine.
