Quite classic on the nose: almond and sweet cherry with a light barrel patina, becoming increasingly savoury with air contact and revealing some menthol, juniper and black pepper. In the mouth there's some body and quite firm tannins that are not yet fully developed. The mild acidity supports a smooth finish. A Trollinger with power, almost late-harvest in style.
