It has a strong bouquet with ripe red currant, red cherry and floral aromas, as well as some spice, and a juniper berry note. It opens softly on the palate with ripe acidity and soft tannins, and again with flavours of ripe red cherry. It displays good tension and minerality, and it still has good ageing potential
