Deep orange gold with subtly brass-coloured reflections. Candied mandarin zest, honey and botrytis savouriness show on the nose, along with nuances of sweet tropical fruit and pickled kumquats. Juicy, grapey nuances emerge on the palate which has a core of fruit sweetness underpinned with enormous acidity. There's some delicate floral nuances and a salty edge. Stylistically more of a Beerenauslese, it's delicate and versatile.
