Dark ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a subtle tear. Subtle notes of fine wood, underpinned by dark berries and licorice; an attractively cool nose with a delicate hint of bergamot. Full-bodied, with notes of dark berry jam and a hint of coconut; pronounced tannins; nougat on the finish; lingers well, displaying good extract sweetness and length; will benefit from bottle aging.
