The red wine N°1, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Sattler has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Some tobacco and herbal savouriness, delicate notes of cassis, fresh cherry, hints of cardamom. Juicy, elegant, integrated tannins, finely savoury, noble wood savouriness on the finish, chocolaty aftertaste, good development and certain ageing potential.
