The pét nat Pet Nat, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schabl has been rated in 2020 by Gerhild Burkard with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Riesling, Roter Veltliner, Weißburgunder from the region Wagram in Austria.
This has a light golden yellow colour, with silver reflections, and a fine and very persistent mousse. On the nose there is a fresh herbal savouriness, lovely pineapple fruit, fresh mango, and delicate blossom honey. It is juicy, with a discreet peach flavour, lovely sweet fruit, fresh acidity, a lemony touch on the finish, and a gentle aftertaste of figs.
