Tasting Notes
Complex bouquet: lilac berries and wild cherry, mocha, tar, display stain, allspice, juniper berries, sage, angelica root. Silky on the palate, deep extract, juicy and taut, animating acidity, enormous length. For autumn roast wild boar.
More about the tastingPowerful on the nose, intense ripe berryish fruit, almost a hint of port, plum, wild cherry, leather, thyme. The palate begins soft and supple for a brief moment, then a rich tannin takes hold, dense, grainy but not rough, deep yet also with nerve and polish, finishes compact and dense, very fresh at the end.
More about the tastingAromas of small red berries, sage and thyme, dried tomato and subtle oak. A palate like velvet and silk! Delicate, underpinned by ripe acidity and berry notes, also clearly chalky and mineral. There is nothing loud about this wine! But the length is still outstanding.
