The red wine »Althoff« Ortenberg Réserve, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schloss Ortenberg has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Some strawberry, rosehip, slightly smoky wood on the nose, with good substance in the mouth, mellow tannins in strong quantities, a layer of suppleness, lots of juice, good berry palate fruit, a quite cultivated Pinot Noir, harmonious and round, without being overly constructed for accessibility.
