The white wine »Caractète« Randersacker Marsberg Silvaner Spätlese trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Schmachtenberger has been rated in 2017 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
With fine woody spice, vanilla and roasted notes as well as pears and rosemary. The new wood plays first fiddle in the first sip, which the extract-rich fruit and the pithy acidity definitely stand up to. Powerful with present tannins and salt on the finish.
