The white wine Pinot Blanc, vintage 2005 from the winery Weingut Schönberger has been rated in 2006 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Medium yellow-green. Delicate caramel notes on the nose, some coconut, very exotic expression. Nougat on the palate, sweet tropical fruit, soft and juicy, creamy style, but not a Pinot Blanc in the classic sense. Very good as a wine for the international market.
