The white wine Südtirol Chardonnay DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Schweitzer has been rated in 2015 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, pale straw yellow. Fresh and clear on the nose, opens with notes of flint, then hawthorn and fresh apple, also fresh banana. Beautifully playful on the palate, sparkling, lots of juicy, present fruit, apple and apricot, with fine salty notes on the finish.
