Tasting Notes
Deep garnet with subtle ochre reflections and a broad and bright rim. A fine bouquet with aromas of fine, ripe, dark fruits of the forest confit, hints of cherry, some nougat and candied orange zest. The elegant palate is juicy, with a pronounced fruit texture, mature, silky tannins and a fine minerality with a slightly salty and chocolatey note on the long finish. An animating food wine with further ageing potential.
