Deep dark ruby, opaque core, slightly watery rim. Black berry fruit, hints of cherry and liquorice, fine herbal savouriness, orange zest, tobacco nuances in the background, a mineral touch. Juicy, elegant, taut texture, red berry notes, fine integrated tannins, with a saline touch on the finish. It has very good length, and is a precise, light-footed food wine with good ageing potential.
