The red wine Escorial, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Stift Klosterneuburg has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Thermenregion in Austria.
Deep ruby, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Delicate notes of plum and some rose hip, with a hint of meadow herbs, candied orange zest. Juicy, fine wild strawberry notes, some redcurrant, well-integrated tannins, fresh and lively style.
