The red wine St. Laurent Reserve Ried Stiftsbreite, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Stift Klosterneuburg has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety St. Laurent from the region Thermenregion in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There is a lovely wood savouriness on the nose, as well as a hint of ripe cherry, blackberry notes, subtle orange zest, and cardamom hints. It is juicy, firm, with a nice nougat touch, dark wild berry confit, and an aftertaste of plum. It has certain ageing potential.
