Deep ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a broader lightening at the rim. Forest berry compote underpinned by subtle notes of fine hardwood, delicate hints of plums, and subtle toasty notes. Juicy, powerful, with a sweetness from the extract, a subtle touch of caramel, and ripe heart cherries on the finish; it has good length and aging potential.
