The white wine Morillon Weissburgunder, Pössnitzberger Römerstein, vintage 1983 from the winery Weingut Tscheppe am Pössnitzberg has been rated in 2017 by Martin Kilchmann, Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Weißburgunder from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Gold with a silver sheen. Fine coconut touch on the nose, delicate hazelnut, ripe apple fruit in the background. Elegant on the palate, subtle coffee touch, lots of substance and freshness, fine extract sweetness, nutty, has length, a full-bodied food companion. Still offers plenty of drinking pleasure even after 32 years.
