The white wine »Der Silvaner« K&K mit Weingut Schätzel, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Wechsler has been rated in 2014 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Tasted as a barrel sample. Controversial assessment; considered too rough by two judges. Three judges were clearly impressed by the wine: spontaneous fermentation notes, hazelnut, juicy acidity, medium-bodied, mineral base, polished, full-bodied and pithy, but not aggressive. Still a hint of fermentation carbonation, good freshness and expression, spicy type, salty, very tactile and good length. Excellent extract for the year. Mineral notes in the empty glass.
