The white wine »Alte Reben« Westhofen Silvaner trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Wechsler has been rated in 2018 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Some nutty and crisp white fruit on the nose after aeration, flint, mineral. Compact on the palate, rather closed, with a lot of tension and pressure. The acidity is right, later a lot of spice and a pleasant, grippy texture. Very good with food.
