The white wine »Terra Rossa« Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Weedenborn has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The nose is distinctly herbal, spiced and iron-mineral, with notes of cumin, red apple, green gooseberry, kiwi and almond. On the palate, the wine flows smoothly and balanced, with a taut acidity and a powerful pinch of phenolics giving it firmness - and certain ageing potential for many more years.
