Dark ruby in colour with a black core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, inviting aromas of fine oak spice, delicate hints of mint, black berry fruit and a fine balsamic savouriness. The palate is substantial and very elegant, with well-integrated tannins, fine blackberry, subtle coconut, and nougat on the very long finish with a taut slate minerality. Potential for future ageing.
