The white wine Südsteiermark DAC Ried Edelschuh, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Wohlmuth has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Bright yellow gold, silver reflections. Fine oak spice, delicate vanilla, nuances of star anise, yellow pear and apple, candied tangerine zest. Complex, juicy, ripe orchard fruit, taut and finely-meshed, a hint of nougat on the finish, mineral note towards the end, great persistence, salty aftertaste.
