The red wine Merlot M+, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Wurzinger Pia has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby, deep core colour, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Ripe plum, dark cherry and some nougat in the background, with candied orange zest. Juicy, good complexity, sweet fruit, integrated spicy tannins, a chocolate touch on the finish. It is already gluggable and has ageing potential.
