The red wine Merlot im Barrique gereift trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weinhof Dieroff has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot
Ripe black cherry, also herbal-spice aromas, thyme. The palate is very soft and full-bodied, then a sandy, quite dense tannin takes hold. The wine still appears youthful, hinting at a spice development and finishes full-bodied and slightly viscous.
