The red wine Blauer Zweigelt Kellermeister Reserve, vintage 2011 from the winery Winzer Krems – Sandgrube 13 has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Kremstal in Austria.
Dark ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a delicate lightening at the rim. Dark wild berry jam, notes of blackberries and spices, a hint of nougat. Complex, again black berries, round and harmonious, well-integrated oak, lingers nicely, chocolatey notes on the finish, shows good length, ripe cherries and plums in the aftertaste, a serious food pairing with further aging potential.
