Smoky wood, yeasty notes, some wormwood and mint. Very fine tannins on the palate, but also very powerful in alcohol, comparatively brisk acidity, creamy background, a wine with very beautiful palate fruit and noble phenolics, but which finishes somewhat flinty on the finish.
