The red wine Ried Ungerberg, vintage 2015 from the winery Winzerhaus Nittnaus has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Black berry fruit, vivid oak spiciness, nuances of vanilla and cardamom, and some nougat. Powerful, substantial, sweet black cherry and plum, ripe tannins, with a chocolaty touch on the finish. It has good length and is a juicy food wine.
