Pale greenish yellow. Ripe, almost red berry fruit on the nose, underlaid with lemon zest, rather restrained. Full-bodied and sweet on the palate, but still somewhat rough and astringent underneath, slightly drying on the finish, still needs bottle ageing to homogenize.
