The red wine Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve BodenSchatz, vintage 2016 from the winery Winzerhof Michael Gartner has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Ripe plums and wild dark berry confit with undertones of candied orange zest, some nougat, a little herbal spice. Juicy, lively structure, firm tannins, black cherries, caramel on the aftertaste, already easy to drink, good food wine.
