The white wine Riesling Lampelschweif, vintage 2020 from the winery Winzerhof Stift has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Weinviertel in Austria.
It has a medium yellow-green colour, with silver reflections. On the nose there are aromas of candied mandarin zest, yellow tropical fruit, apricots and blossom honey, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, with vivid fruit sweetness, ripe yellow peach, a refined acid structure, a touch of lemon minerality on the finish, and very good length. It has a balanced semi-dry style, and has certain ageing potential.
