The white wine »Edition« Chardonnay im Eichenfass gereift trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Winzerverein Deidesheim has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Subtle smoky aromas, hints of vanilla, ripe red apple, pear and light floral notes. On the palate, fine acidity, vanilla again and toasted notes, the oak barrel influence is very vivid along with vivid fruit notes. A versatile wine, good with food.
