The white wine Yealands State of Flux Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2019 from the winery Yealands Estate has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Marlborough in New Zealand.
Fermented and matured in a concrete egg, this wines comes with a more subdued aromatic profile, featuring white currant and dried pear. The palate also has that lovely textural element and a flavour reminiscent of Russet pear peel. The finish is both ripe and fresh. Lovely.
