The boutique hotel Alex Lake Zurich launches a new culinary offer for all seafarers. One call is all it takes!
On the lawn, anyone can! But calling from the water, ordering, briefly mooring at the jetty and then having a picnic is now possible at the Alex Hotel on Lake Zurich. Whether for lunch, on a quiet afternoon or at sunset - the water city in Zurich provides a fantastic backdrop!
Ideally located directly on the shore, the Alex Hotel in Thalwil is now offering a pick-up picnic for boats on Lake Zurich under the motto "Boat Away". As usual, with small but in this case particularly tasty bites: Hungry sailors can choose from an extensive menu to suit their taste, be it the legendary "The Living Circle Plättli" with cheese from our own dairy farm Schlattgut, a Tender beef tartare or a fruity "Schlattgutküberli" with sweet sorbets - small portions allow you to try a little bit of everything.
Providing the right refreshment sparkling cold drinks or various winesincluding from our own farm Terreni alla Maggia in Ticino. Once the order has been placed, it doesn't take long for the pre-packed basket to be waiting on the jetty. With the provisions on board, all that remains is to choose a spot on the lake, go for a swim, take in the city panorama or simply enjoy the delicious treats.
The exclusive Alex Hotel belongs to The Living Circle, an association that was initiated in April 2017 and is made up of four hotels, three farms, a restaurant and a rustico. All members of The Living Circle have a strong connection to nature and offer their guests incomparable experiences.
