With the Amazónico Monte-Carlo, the Place du Casino has one more place of gastronomic superlatives.
Es soll “mehr als ein Restaurant” sein, was Gäste seit 5. April 2024 am Dach des neuen Café de Paris Monte-Carlo erwartet. Das Konzept verspricht “eine Erlebnisreise an die Banks of the Amazon, ein Eintauchen in die Kultur, die Atmosphäre und die Geschmäcker der Länder, die am größten Fluss der Welt liegen”. Soweit das Ziel. Doch was kann der neue Hotspot for foodies in Monaco really?

The creators of Amazónico have a lot of self-esteem. And rightly so. After all, the concept is not a new one. Conceived back in 2010 by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco in Madrid, it was exported to London and Dubai in 2015 in collaboration with the D.ream Group. Now it's time to make the leap to the historic center of Monte-Carlo's Société des Bains de Mer.
The Amazónico offers creative cuisine, cocktails, live performances and a private club. Of course, the Amazon not only gives the restaurant its name, but is also the model for the interior design. Guests can look forward to special moments in a unique atmosphere. The roof terrace offers wonderful views, but is also a great sight in its own right. Thanks to the opulent greenery, it's the perfect setting for stylish celebrations, a romantic dinner or networking. The design was created by artist and decorator Lázaro Rosa-Violan.
But the new hotspot for foodies in Monaco not only pays homage to the longest river in the world visually. The menu features a repertoire of tropical and Latin American influences. Asian and Mediterranean flavors from the cuisine of its communities also find their way onto the menu. There's a focus on Peruvian sushi with raw seafood, the finest meat, fresh fish and plenty of seasonal produce. And mixologists provide original creations in liquid form at the bar.
You can enjoy these delicacies accompanied by live music. And their spectrum ranges from Latin jazz über Bossa Nova bis hin zu kubanischen Rhythmen. In der Bar, in der Lounge und im Club freut man sich auf “elektro-pikale Klänge”. Noch nie gehört? Dabei handelt es sich um eine Fusion of electro and Latin vibes. It is something like the musical trademark of Amazónico.
Between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., restaurant guests can go in search of the mysterious staircase with the leopard print. It leads to the exclusive club. Here, the party continues in an intimate atmosphere until the early hours of the morning. The resident DJ plays beats on the turntables, while mixologists take care of drinks to keep the party going.
