Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients

Ingredients (2 servings)
16 Chicken wings
1 teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) Pepper
2 tablespoon(s) Soy sauce
1 tablespoon(s) Honey
1/2 teaspoon(s) Ginger, chopped
1/4 teaspoon(s) Sesame oil
1 teaspoon(s) Corn starch
2 teaspoon(s) Water

Preparation

  • Prepare a kettle grill for indirect grilling and heat to around 180 °C. Season the wings with salt and pepper and roast on the grill for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Combine the soy sauce, honey, ginger and sesame oil in a small pan and bring to the boil.
  • Make a thin paste of cornstarch and water and then add to the sauce when it is boiling. Reduce the heat and stir until it thickens. Set aside.
  • After 30 minutes, remove the wings from the grill and brush lightly with the sauce. Place back on the grill and close the lid.
  • After 10 minutes, remove the wings from the grill and place in a bowl with the remaining sauce and mix. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions.
