Comptoir gourmand is the subtitle of "DéCi", which is a little misleading, as it is a restaurant that should be taken seriously. One that serves a five- or seven-course menu under the umbrella term table bistronomique - for at least two people for 75 or 95 francs respectively - but which also offers uncomplicated visits. We had only made a reservation for the bar à vins, were allocated a table and were allowed to order freely from the small menu. So we ordered asparagus with wild garlic and farina bóna. We also ordered sushi vaudois with riz du Vully, omble chevalier and shiso. Excellent. We liked the asparagus, flamed and served with crumble and tacos, even better than the rice and fish creation. Artichoke with foie gras and rhubarb or peas with mint and bacon were also on the menu that evening. After cheese (we particularly liked the burtignon), we found out that rhubarb, orange blossom, almond and Swiss ricotta concealed a very well thought-out dessert - served on two plates, fruity and fresh on one side and baked on the other. To top it all off, the wine list at "DéCi" is also above average and anything but mainstream. We stayed in the region, skipped the 2018 champagne from Domaine Charpentier and the Silvaner Vinz Alte Reben from the Würzburg vineyard am Stein, but ordered an orange wine Pinot Gris from Domaine de la Ville de Morges. Next time it will be one of the Chasselas from the Vieux Millésimes section! We will certainly be back.
