Wine has been produced at the Zur Dankbarkeit winery since 1924. Located in Podersdorf am See, in the heart of the Seewinkel region on Lake Neusiedl, the family combines tradition, experience and passion for viticulture. The business has been run as a family winery from the very beginning. Knowledge has been passed on, refined and preserved over generations. The focus is always on traditional craftsmanship - from the meticulous work in the vineyard to the careful vinification in the cellar. The company consciously draws on the experience and intuition of experienced winemakers and combines this valuable heritage with contemporary cellar technology. The result is wines with character, origin and personality - shaped by history and supported by family passion.
The pioneer Josef Lentsch III took over the winery from his father Josef Lentsch II in 1989 and shaped its development with vision and quality awareness. In 2019, the family business was handed over to his daughter Christine Glück. Together with her husband Andreas Glück, the winery is now being run by the fourth generation, steeped in tradition.
With sound professional qualifications, passion and a keen sense of quality, they are particularly dedicated to the careful development and gentle care of the wines. In this way, they combine the valuable heritage of past generations with contemporary cellar technology and a clear signature - for wines with character, depth and origin.
