Tasting Notes
Amarena cherry and cocoa powder, a hint of Amarone, full-bodied on the palate, the soft base is filled to the brim with grainy tannins, mild acidity, controlled power, good fruit on the finish. Despite all its power, it also has balance.
More about the tastingBlackcurrant, cassis, crème de cassis in its purest form, although the wine is of course made from grapes and not from the red berries. It is also fascinating on the palate, when gripping tannins spicily flank the sweet berry juice.
