The red wine Mouton Cadet Réserve Margaux, vintage 2018 from the winery Baron Philippe de Rothschild has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Margaux in France.
On the nose, a ripe vintage, with plum, mint, subtle hints of Boisée and notes of black cherry confit. Intense on the palate, with fine-grained tannin, vivid acidity, very juicy and elegant, but with a firm core and suppleness, an almost viscous finish. A turbo-Margaux due to the vintage, but the typical elegance remains intact.
