The red wine »Selektion« Beckstein Kirchberg Schwarzriesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Schwarzriesling from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, very delicate, skilful use of oak, with aromas of red berries, cranberries from a jar and rosehip. The palate is juicy, but also endowed with good tannins, it doesn’t lack structure, and there is a fine vein of acidity underpinning the fruit. Superbly elegant!.
