The red wine Amarone Classico della Valpolicella, vintage 2010 from the winery Bertani has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
Brilliant ruby with a slightly brightening rim. Finely drawn nose with notes of ripe fresh cherry and plum, with dried fruit behind, but very clear. Pithy tannins, salty, very good length, has tension and salt, but a little coarse and drying on the back.
