The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Valpantena, vintage 2019 from the winery Bertani has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear ruby with garnet reflections. Intense and elegant on the nose, of preserved cherries and rose petals, underpinned by a slightly ethereal note. Powerful but supple on the palate, with velvety tannins, ripe fruit and a slight bitter note in the lingering finish.
