The red wine »S« Rüdesheim Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Bischöfliches Weingut Rüdesheim GmbH has been rated in 2019 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Herbal savoury notes on the nose with mint, juniper and spruce needles. On the palate it is very dense, chewy, smoothly grounded, full body, ripe, but still also has traction from the generous acidity. Despite the tension from high levels of extract it is also very juicy with a mineral depth. This is built for the long haul.
