The red wine Assmannshausen Höllenberg Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Bischöfliches Weingut Rüdesheim GmbH has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Pinot berry aroma with floral and slate-spicy undertones. Some juniper. Creamy attack on the palate, then a very dense, mealy tannin, largely mellow, but also with a hint of roughness, firm but well-integrated acidity, immensely mineral, a wine made for the long haul with a powerful terroir expression.
